Chef Olé Begins
We started as food lovers interested in bringing quality food that we adore, Mediterranean food (that first bite of perfectly ripe tomato with sea salt and olive oil, ufff), to our loved ones. We think cooking is a sacred act of love that deepens connections with the people around us.
But...
We started seeing a trend: people going for the easy way, instead of food that tells a story, builds connections, or empowers people, the trend pointed toward convenience at all costs: grab-and-go meals, ultra-processed shortcuts, 5-minute TikTok recipes that save time but leave out the magic that cooking brings to our lives.
We get it, we are also full-time workers with families to keep in mind, but we are here to solve, to make beautiful simple again by bringing the essence of Mediterranean Spain straight to your table, effortlessly ;)
Since 1926
Oh, you thought this started with us? It wasn't, it was our father back in 1926 by smuggling European specialty products in small boats onto Caribbean beaches, back then, during the Prohibition Era, defying the rules just to bring those flavors to life. The rules said “don't touch the goods,” but rules are sometimes made to be broken. So we touched them, and got hooked. Those flavors opened our eyes to how little pleasures like a perfect olive can add real happiness and meaning to life.
A Small Discovery
That sparked a lifelong commitment (see how trading quality for quick convenience is never worth it…). From there, our journey led us to visit in person and partner with the finest Spanish artisan companies with more than 100 years of history crafting Europe's best.
This Wasn't Easy...
Years of effort, tough decisions, endless tastings, and hard choices went into it. But we can say with confidence we've chosen the absolute best. Every product we select is tested, tasted, and truly loved, carrying forward that same spirit of pushing boundaries to share authentic joy.
